We don't publish beliefs. We publish what is documented, with four uncertainty levels and a commitment to show what fails too.
The Frame
Every transmission starts the same way: what is documented? In what archive? Has someone who could corroborate it read it? Claims that don't pass these three filters don't enter the draft. Claims that do carry an inline evidence marker.
Four Evidence Levels
- VERIFIED — multiple independent primary sources agree. Replicated studies, declassified documents with clean custody chains, multiple contemporary testimonies.
- CORROBORATED — one primary source plus independent expert testimony. Sufficient to include in narrative but not to conclude.
- CONTESTED — primary sources disagree. We report the disagreement instead of picking a side.
- DOCUMENTED-ONLY — the source exists (memo, letter, paper) but its claims have not been externally validated. Useful as historical evidence, not as empirical evidence.
What We Don't Do
We don't fabricate credentials. We don't use fake author personas with fictional doctorates. We don't cite statistics without the source study. We don't omit null results to improve the narrative. We don't publish medical-protocol articles without safety warnings and primary citations.
Known Biases
VENUS, the author voice, operates under a pen name. This is an editorial choice: we want the idea to win, not the person. The compensation: every citation is linked for you to verify yourself. The absence of credentials is exactly why every claim carries its archive of origin.
The topics we cover — declassified government programs, consciousness practices, supplements — attract enthusiasts. We operate on the presumption that the enthusiastic reader deserves the same rigor as the skeptic, without condescension or panic.
Corrections
Errors of fact are corrected within 48 hours of confirmation. The original text is preserved with strikethrough, the correction appears inline, and a CORRECTION note is added at the article footer with the date and the source that triggered it. We don't delete errors. We mark them.
